Productivity hacks to get more done in less time - The Content Collective

S4 Episode 9: Productivity hacks to get more done in less time

Work hours as an entrepreneur are precious with what feels like a never ending task list, so how can you make the most of that time and really be as productive as you can? Well let me share with you my productivity hacks which start with my annual goal settings and get split down into weekly task that I time block into my diary for a visual overlook and trust me it really does work!

[0:53] - Intro

Diving into this episodes subject, it has lots of takeaways so grab a note pad and pen and a coffee and be ready to talk all things productivity.

[2:57] - Monthly List

Always start by setting your annual goals first so you know where you're going and what you need to achieve. I then go into more detail about splitting these into quarterly goals and then monthly.

[7:14] - Urgency of Tasks

Once I have split my tasks into months I then decide on the urgency of each task to manage the weeks within that month.

[8:18] - Time Blocking

To be extremely productive in the week I time block my tasks I need to achieve in the week around pre-scheduled meetings or site visits.

[13:14] - To Do Lists

Just having a long To Do list won't help with being productive, you might end up picking the tasks you like doing and then leaving other task to last that actually might need a good amount of time on them to achieve them.

[14:43] - Trello

I use Trello for every aspect of my business, for social media, for enquiries and for my team. It allows me to oversee everything in a time saving and productive way!
