Geometric East London Wedding

In 2022 we were lucky enough to work with Jenny and David on their wedding at a super cool London venue, Trinity Buoy Wharf. As a london wedding planner we love working at urban and unique venues in the city!

It's a dry hire warehouse complete with lighthouse and brilliant outside courtyard that overlooks the River Thames with the O2 in full view, it really is an amazing view!

Jenny and David came to us for design consultancy combined with our on the day coordination service and we absolutely loved the end result that we helped them create!

'Lauren was extremely engaging, personable and really took care of all the detail our wedding needed to have. My wife was of course more engaging with Lauren leading up to the wedding we had, but every time she had a conversation with her she came away happy & at ease with how things were to go. Lauren is a star!' - David White (Groom)

We were lucky to have incredible weather so the ceremony was outside overlooking the Thames and conducted by a celebrant as the couple had legally got married the year before.

We loved the couples use of geometric shapes which was used throughout the whole wedding starting with the altar which had the added floral accents and the purposely chosen chairs. We love that they went for something a little different with their choice of chair!

The drinks reception was then a surprise boat trip down the River Thames where guests got to see iconic London landmarks.

The couple's energy was amazing there was just so much love in the air and you can really tell from all the photos just how much fun they had at every moment of their day!

Photos thanks to Megan Donati Photography we love her delicate tone which just captures the surroundings perfectly.

Back on dry land the guests were treated to a buffet BBQ style meal thanks to Boulevard Events and a surprise visit from a Mr Whippy ice cream van for dessert and boy did these go down a treat!

The florals followed the white theme by being solely white and we loved that the bridesmaids were also all in white! What a statement huh! And the geometric theme continued with candle holders and photo frames of the couples for the table names. The couple added extra personal details by taking photos of themselves in the locations around London which were they're table names.

It was a perfect summers evening and guests enjoyed a cocktail hour outside with an acoustic duo, traditional lawn games, connect 4 and an audio guestbook, yes you heard right - a telephone that records your message instead of writing them in a book!

The bride surprised us all with an epic outfit change, going from the beautiful white gown to a metallic gold jumpsuit and boy did she rock it! They performed their first dance under the twinkling disco ball and then partied hard!

'Lauren was able to delegate to perfection to two other members of her team exactly how our day was to run which made the running of our day seamless and unforgettable.' David White (Groom)
