Colourful, Surrey Countryside Wedding

Surrey, an area of outstanding natural beauty and home to one of the most beautiful understated wedding venues and one that we, as a surrey wedding planner, absolutely love to work at, Millbridge Court.

A manor house converted into a blank canvas wedding venue with two huge spaces with statement floor to ceiling windows that just fills the spaces with natural light. It has a stunning garden with outdoor ceremony space and nestled amongst the surrounding fields is a Soho Home / The Pig inspired honeymoon suite for the couple to enjoy, complete with a luxury copper bathtub!

We had the privilege of coordinating Siobhan and Brad's wedding here back in June and my goodness was it a beautiful wedding on a beautiful summer's day.

Siobhan looked absolutely stunning thanks to Olivia Mills (hair and make up artist). Siobhan's wedding dress was stunning and designed by Love Honor (Ingrid Olic) via Love in Lace Bridal, Kent and we loved how all the bridesmaids were wearing the same colour but different style dresses.

Siobhan's hair accessory was by SweetV, earrings Astrid & Miyu and rings, bracelet and necklace were bespoke to her and designed by a family friend especially for her wedding.

The photos are thanks to the brilliant Kirsty MacKenzie who's style really makes all their colours so vibrant making them jump out the photos!

We loved Siobhan and Brad's chic and modern country style for the decor with hand written signs on wooden boards (all create by Siobhan herself!), classic white urns and crystal cut vases with the wild flower selection by Jessica Eliza Flowers bringing the pops of colour with vivid pink, whites, muted oranges, lilacs and blues.

The wedding breakfast hall looked incredible, the room was filled with two long rustic wooden tables with a top table framed by the floor to ceiling windows. The urns at the ceremony we're repurposed to behind the top table and the delicate bud vases just added pops of colour to the neutral room.

The bride and groom were entered into the wedding breakfast with lots of cheering and swirling napkins!

The in-house caterer at Millbridge Court, Kalm Kitchen did not disappoint with excellent food service. We love their unique and stylish canapé trays to add a little more sophistication to the occasion, the wedding breakfast was delicious and we loved the his and hers cocktails served on the marble martini trolley.

Their wedding cake was baked and designed by Vanessa at Forever Cake Creations and it really did match the style the couple we're trying to create. The white buttercream was textured with hints of gold leaf and the fresh flowers to pull it into the floral design really made it look special.

After the first dance came the amazing OJ's Soul Band who really brought the dance floor alive!

It really was a pleasure to be part of their day and make their wedding dreams come true! Also always a pleasure working at Millbridge Court, the team there are just brilliant!
