Dress Code

Friday: Cocktail

Ladies: Dresses of any length or elegant pantsuit/jumpsuit.

Gentlemen: Suits or suits separates. Ties are not required.

Saturday: Black-Tie Preferred

Ladies: Gowns or formal maxi dresses; Spring colours encouraged, but all are welcome.

Most of the wedding will be indoors or on an outdoor patio; however, we are planning to host our ceremony in the garden (weather permitting), which will require a few steps over grass to get to your chair. In this case, you may prefer to wear block heels vs. stilettos

Gentlemen: Tuxedos encouraged; Formal dark-coloured suit with white dress shirt and conservative-coloured tie or bowtie are welcome.

Dorset May Weather:

Temperatures are generally cool but comfortable at this time of year with averages of (10 -18C or 50-65F). The majority of the wedding will be indoors (especially in the evening) with the exception of the outdoor ceremony & drinks (weather abiding) earlier in the day. For the ladies, we recommend bringing a cardigan, shawl or light jacket if you get cold easily.

Travel & Accommodation
Travel and Accommodation

We’ll be organising shuttle buses from key points within Wimborne to transport you to and from the venue. Please let us know your interest via the RSVP link.

If you are not staying near a shuttle point we’ve also provided local taxi information (it’s best to book these in advance!). Uber is also available but can be less reliable given it’s a rural area!

FAQ's

FAQ's

Are children invited to the wedding?
While we adore your little ones, this is a strictly adult-only event with the exception of our flower girl and page boys who will be participating in our ceremony.

Is there plenty of Parking?
Yes, there is a lot of parking on site, and you can leave your car.

How do I get to the venue?

We are providing shuttle buses to and from the venue from select points within Wimborne. If you are staying somewhere that is not near to one of these points then booking a local taxi is the best option (do so in advance). Ubers are also available but may take longer as it’s a rural area and more challenging to find at night. More information will be shared once we have recieved all RSVP's.

Can I get a taxi?

If you are not joining the shuttle services we hope to provide, we cannot stress enough how important it is to pre-book your taxi. Trying to book a taxi in the evening is extremely difficult at this location!
